Hi All,
We will be visiting the Disney parks and Lego Land April 20 - 27, 2013. We'll be exchanging a timeshare week through Interval International. We're looking for the best Marriott resort for us. My wife and I, and our 2 sons, 5 and 8 will be traveling. It looks like our options are the following -

Harbour Lakes
Grande Vista
Cypress Harbour
Royal Palms
Sabal Palms

We don't expect to spend a whole lot of time at the resort but if the little guys get tired of walking we would like the best place for them to have some age appropriate fun. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

With the age of your kids, you may like harbour lake best. Cypress harbour is our favorite, beautiful, just the right size, something for everyone. I would skip Royal and Sabal as you have to get on a shuttle to get to the world resort which is where all the action is but if you just want quiet then maybe they are okay with you. Grand Vista is nice but has the heavy golf tie-in and is larger in size. They are all great resorts as they are marriotts and you can't lose with any of them.

My parents are owners at Harbor Lakes. We have stayed there for the past 4 years and LOVE it!
The resort is beautiful. Very kid friendly. We have teenagers and they love this place as well. It's in a great location. It's about a 10 minute drive to the Disney Parks as well as Universal. Sea World is just down the street. There is a Publix and Walmart close by.
The resort has great pools and its own mini golf.
Last year we were able to see the fireworks at the Magic Kingdom from our porch.
The rooms are very clean and plush. The bedding is wonderful. I love Disney resorts but I have to say this place is even nicer and cheaper.

stayed at royal palms in nov 2012. it was easily the worst marriott timeshare i've ever stayed at (compared to vegas/st kitts/grande ocean and surfwatch in hilton head/southern california).

it's in a great location but i'd give royal palms a pass.

Agreed. I'd skip both Royal Palms and Sabal Palms. They're not terrible by any means, but I wouldn't choose either of these with the other options available.

Might as well throw Imperial palms in there as well. It is the neighbor of Royal. The only advantage with it is that they have 3 bedroom units.
