Help with room for August

We're taking a 4 day Disney Cruise this August. Our DS keeps begging us to also go to the MK (Hey kid, we're taking you on a Disney Cruise! Do you know how lucky you are?)

We decided that since we still have 6 days left on some 10 day passes, we might as well do one day at the MK on our return.

We've always stayed at the POFQ (3 times....love the FQ). Tried to book online just now....the only moderate available is the CBR.

I tried booking a value resort, but there are no value resort rooms available. It just keeps offering the CBR at $149/night as an alternative, since no value resorts are available.

My wife requested to stay at WL, but only super deluxe rooms at something like $500/night are available....love the WL, but not at that price.

Can I get into a value resort if I book through someone else besides on the Disney Web site?

Are there any valid codes for August?

I know I jumped around a little with the type of resort, but here was our line of thinking...........WL was our first choice. POFQ our second. If neither of those, we thought we'd try a value resort for this short stay.

Or should I just stay off site for the one day at MK? (We've always stayed on Disney property.)

I appreciate any insight people can give.

I just checked Expedia....they have All Star Movies for $81 (plus fees).
How can they have something available, but not Disney itself?

Might some of the sponsors of this board have access to something?

You could try Kelly with Magical Travel. She has been great about helping with my room and discount. I made some changes and she was super about it, and she even called to check discounts for me (without me asking.) Let me know if you want her e-mail or 800#...I love the 800#...she called for all my dining reservations and saved me both time and phone charges.
