chicken here and back concerns.. can anyone help me with rides at both parks what has drops and coasters extreme? is spiderman a roller coaster or simu;lator , the harry potters rides? the forbiden journey? i know there are others ther too but new here dont know names and initals to them all , hoping to do the one that shows the most of hogwarts but not with drops are there simulator rides there thanks so much newbie here :)

Spider-man is a slow moving dark ride that also has 3D and simulation effects. It is NOT a roller coaster in any sense. There is a "drop" but it is a simulated effect.

Forbidden Journey is similar to Spider-Man in that it is also a slow moving dark ride with simulation effects (no 3D). No drops on that one, and it's not a roller coaster, but it has some quick turns, and you will be flat on your back at a few points. This is also the one that takes you through Hogwarts castle.

Dragon Challenge is a roller coaster. Both dragons have 5 inversions and several drops.

Flight of the Hippogriff is a kiddie coaster. It has no drops, just banked curves and small hills.

As for roller coasters, there is also Hulk, Mummy, and Rockit. All of these have drops. Hulk has 7 inversions, the other two have none.

The only other rides with drops are: Doctor Doom (shot tower), Ripsaw Falls (log flume), Jurassic Park (big boat flume).

Despicable Me and Simpsons Ride are both simulators.

:othanks so much very helpful answer one more questrion when it flips you on yr back is it a quick jerk like falling or just swooping you on yr back sorry for dumb questions:scared:

Just a note about the Simpson Ride... I can handle a lot of roller coasters, flips, dips, and drops - but for some reason, that ride gets me very motion sick! Just a word of caution!

The Mummy also has two drops and is very fast turns. As someone who is a roller coaster chicken and suffers from back problems and motion sickness - the Forbidden Journey ride was too much for me - I rode it once but all the movement with the large screens didn't work with motion sickness. I do love the mummy ride though.

thanks for the replies, as for the first post it didnt mention "flipping on back", so when i read it in anothers reply i asked for a more specfic answers as i have a spinal cord stimulator and screws in my back , so i am gatherngi a little more detail than first given , again thanks so much for the respones, sorry if i irrated any of you . :thumbsup2 thanks "the dark marauder" very helpful :)
