Staying for 3 nights with 6yr old DS and Grandma's coming too. Using Disney transportation. Which would you pick: CSR or CBR?

We've stayed at CSR 4 years ago and enjoyed it. Never stayed at CBR. We usually have a rental car so this will be different using busses the whole trip. Probably looking for the resort that has the 'easiest' busses.

Much depends on your tastes, but if it were me, I'd go with CSR because there's a fitness center and because they have queen beds while CBR still has fulls. Also, I like the layout of CSR better, and it's a wonderful place for an evening stroll around the lake.

I've never stayed at CBR but have CSR and loved the cabanas. They do have pirate rooms now at CBR which look very cool for the kids :)

The CSR is sort of geared towards adults, but someone just put up a review where they said they stayed with their young children and they loved it.

I stayed there before the rehab with my kids and they were very young and we loved it. The pool was so much fun, lots of activities and we even rented water mice for the little pond.

Both have pros so I would guess it's more of a personal preference. I believe CSR is a bit more laidback, professional looking and CBR is geared more themed.

Good luck with which ever you choose! :)

Trying to make that same decision right now.. Really want POFQ bc of its size but wanted to stay somewhere different this time and am loving the pirate ship pool area for kids. :) But, CSR rooms are so pretty!

A cm on the phone this morning old me that not all the rooms at CSR have queen beds. Which I was not aware of-just FYI.

All CSR rooms have either 2 queens or a king bed, I guess the CM was referring to the King rooms. On average I would say CSR would have the better bus service, but buses can be hit or miss at any of the resorts, value through deluxe.

If "Grandma" has any trouble with stairs, go with CSR. CBR doesn't have elevators.

All the 2-bed rooms at CSR have 2 queens.
