Help with Receipt Apps that Earn Rewards

So I use Fetch and it is easy. I just can all receipts - I usually get at least 200 pts each time - more when I buy the products they feature. I uploaded my first receipt mid-feb and I already cashed out $10 and have almost another 1500 pts. It is a slow earner, but requires no effort or time.

I recently downloaded Receipt Pal. I haven't done much with it yet. I did scan one receipt so far. It seems as effortless as Fetch. Every four receipts earns 100 pts. Any other ways to earn with Receipt pal?

Ibotta and Checkout51 - I don't get these. Can you only earn for the featured products? It doesn't seem like they work the same way as Fetch where I can just scan all receipts and earn without the effort of looking for specific products. Am I missing something here? How do you earn with these apps?

Ibotta and Checkout51 are just like you said. They earn only for the featured items. This works well for some people and not so great for others. It just depends what you buy. We have gotten quite a bit from Ibotta. DH likes the alcohol rebates.

You should check out receipt hog too. That is one that you can earn from just scanning receipts.

Thank you. This helps. I think I will hold off on Ibotta and Checkout51 for now then.

I did check out Receipt Hog. There is a waiting list to use it. I did sign up and am waiting.

I will stick with Fetch for now as I need something that doesn't take time or thought.

I would say don't hold off on iBotta or Checkout51. Check the app once per week and see if there are any items you would normally buy. I do this while riding in the car with my husband or while watching tv. There is almost always an "any item" rebate on iBotta that gives 25 cents for uploading your receipt. It might be a slow earner, but you will eventually get enough to cash out.
