To all you wonderful creative people on these boards, I have found a few graphics I love for our upcoming two cruises and assorted Disney trips. I would love to put words (names and/or dates) on top of the graphics - and not cover the graphics. I have figured out how to create a text box in Word and put this on top of the graphic - but - this works great if the graphic is white but say I want to put the graphic over something that is a print (maybe animal print).

Is there any way of doing this in Word or do I need to get photoshop?

Thanks - if I can figure out how to do this myself - I will not have to bother all you creative people.

Right click on the edge of your text box and click on Format Text Box. Change "Fill - Color" to "No Fill" and "Line - Color" to "No Line". That should do it!

Thank you so much. I had done that to get rid of the line around the text box but - duhh to me - I should have been able to figure that out. Sometimes the things that seem so hard are right there in front of your face.

Watch out world - I'm going to get creative.

:cheer2: Have fun!

You may also take a look at Pixlr, a free, online paint program. Not as powerful as Photoshop but way cheaper.
