Help with photopass changes

I need some advice and have a question - First, the advice part. We were in Disney when the changes happened with photopass (Oct 14-21). I had decided not to preorder until I got back. And since I was going to preorder, I didn't preenter the photopass I got with my travel docs because I didn't want to mess up the preorder. So, when I got back and saw the changes I went to enter my code with the travel docs but I haven't gotten anything that gives me a discount on the PhotoCD. Do I have any options besides paying full price since I didn't do anything before I left? I am bummed out because we tried to stop a lot of photopasses but I am not sure I can swing the full $150. . .but I understand that I didn't do things in the right order either.

Also, (my question) I know I have read about something to watch for when editing photos. Should they be saved in 5X7 once edited or is that how they get cut off. I tried to read a photopass guide but didn't really understand it. I don't want cut off photos . . .

You will need to save the pics in the same format you will print them in.

My aunt just received the photopass with her travel docs and registered it not knowing what it was. Does that mean we can only use that one card while down there? We might split up and in the end we will probably have 5 or 6 cards (we are 5 families going down). Can we all register them when we get back under the same account she registered the one she got with her travel docs?

pixarfan-when did you register your photopass? I would think this would have to be done before hand, but my aunt didn't get the e-mail with the code for another 2 days. So maybe you still have some time before you get it.

When you get back, you can register multiple photopass cards to one account. Make sure you record or photograph your photopass numbers, if you lose a card you can still enter the number and retrieve your photos.

Yes, but I thought that once you register, you have to register them all together.

Or is it once you look at the pictures on one card then you can't link them together?

You do not have to register all of the cards at the same time, but you do need to add them to one (and only one) account.

Thanks for the info. I registered my travel doc pass after we got back but only a day or two ago so I will try waiting to see if I get something. I have gotten a few emails but nothing with a discount.

Also, I can confirm the other question. I was able to register several cards and see all the pictures after we came back. I actually did not use the travel doc one but just the ones from Disney.

I have an additional question. We had pictures taken at a character meal which we purchased and got the little printout of numbers that you are supposed to take to photopass in the park and get added to your card. However, we lost our photopasses and the slip (thank goodness we had been taking pictures of them thanks to this board) so we couldn't get them added. Disney did find our cards and the slip and we got them today. Does anyone know if I can call photopass and have them add those pics to our account? Sorry for the long story . . . we had a great experience with Disney lost and found!

Just put the code in your account just like the code on your photopass card. The code should be printed on the border of your photo. I think it starts with EVNT

i remember the first time i got Photopass, i got an email a few days before they expired with a dicount so i assume that 2 days before the 30day mark, they thought i wouldn't order. Now this was in 2007. Maybe they will offer that as alot of ppl might not be ordering so maybe they will offer that again, if alot of business is lost
