Help with our August schedule: which day to skip? Club 33?

We'll be in Anaheim August 2-9. On the second, we will be driving from San Francisco, and I imagine we'll leave really early, both to beat traffic and because I'll be too excited to sleep. We probably will do some time in the park that night.

We have 6 day hoppers. We'll be staying at either BWPPI or DI&S (have reservations at both and will cancel one soon).

My husband will be doing less time in the park than I will, as he went to college down there and has old friends to visit. I'll make him take our toddler with us :). The only day that I plan to take away from the park completely will be a Legoland day. We think we'll be able to use one of the aforementioned college friends for a Club 33 date sans kids. So, questions:

1. Which day will be best to skip the park and head to Legoland? My guess from looking at the AP calendars is that Sunday might be the best day to be out of DLR, but is it absolutely insane at Legoland on weekends?

2. Best day for dinner at Club 33, or are they all equal?

Other thoughts?

Haven't had dinner at Club 33 but lunch was great. You can try out more of the foods at lunch than you can at dinner.

SoCal APs are blocked your entire trip....Deluxe is blocked Saturday only. Not sure where the Sunday best day/AP calendar comes into play.

I think I read that summer Sundays can get really busy-for folks working during the week with deluxe passes, it's the day they can go. Happy to know if that's wrong, though.

It is true. As a PAPer who goes mainly weekends since I live 6 hours away, I can say Sundays are much worse than Saturdays.
