Transferred points now showing up on dashboard

Hi DIS'ers

I just noticed that my transferred in and OTUP points are now once again showing up on my dashboard.

If I browse between the resort pictures, like you are able to do for the resort you own, then the transferred In and OTUP resorts also show up.

Just tested and I'm still not able to on my own to use the transferred in points for an 11 month reservation.

I'm also able to see each individual contract for the transferred in and OTUP under the "Vacation points overview"

Oddly enough the transferred in points are both represented as "Transferred in contract number" and just "Contract number". The latter shows as a "VM2M" and then a number. The first just as contract number. The OTUP are shown as "VOTUP" and a number.

Anyone else able to see this?

Same! I noticed this a couple days ago. That makes it really convenient and I'm super glad they did this. I hope it sticks around and isn't a Disney IT glitch

I feel the same, but since its Disney IT I wouldn't be too sure

Also if MS starts to receive calls from members thinking they all of a sudden own more points etc then they might remove it again.

Yes, I noticed this a couple of days ago. Also, I think the column that says ‘eligible for travel’ and gives the dates for each contract is new.

Good that we can now see and keep track of transferred in points. A shame we still can’t use them online at the 11 month mark. Particularly as I lost out on my VGC room this weekend… damn D23.

Yes, that’s happened with mine as well. It’s only different resort/ UY which don’t function well online by the looks of things.

Thanks for confirming, this makes sense anyhow, not sure why others cannot book at 11 months with transferred points.

Because OTU points don’t carry a home resort advantage so the system is set up to block a membership from using resorts you don’t own online during the home resort period.

As mentioned, when transferring points that match exactly what you already own, includng UY, it seems to work.
