Hello.
We have our schedule pretty much worked out.
We will be at Animal Kingdom on Wednesday, June 2nd

We have an 8:00am PS at Donald's breakfast
After that will we hit the park.
The problem is we have to leave the park around 2pm to go back to our resort to freshen up because DS is going to the Neverland Club & DH & I are going to the Cailfornia Grill later that evening :love2:

Anyway, here are the things we REALLY want to see during our Animal Kingdom vist
Festival of the Lion King
Safari
Tarzan Rocks
It's Tough to be a Bug
Rapids

Honestly, is that doable during our timeframe (9am-2pm)
We want to save the Rapids for last.
Is there any order we should go with these?
I was thinking of doing Lion King first (hit the first show) & while DS & I are waiting in line, have DH run up to Safari & grab some FPs for us.

Any ideas or hints?
BTW--we have done all these except Tarzan Rocks & the Rapids, so those really are a must do :)

I think your list is very doable. We have always hit the Safari first, since the animals tend to be a little more active early in the day. But either way, do Lion King & Safari first. I would then hit It's Tough to be a Bug as you pass on the way over to Tarzan Rocks. Keep in mind that Tarzan is a stage show with specific performance times. And definitely keep the rapids for last - you will get wet! If you have some time between things, try to fit in the bird show Flights of Wonder. It's about 20-30 minutes long, but worth it.

Have a great and magical time.

Thanks!

I am glad to hear our plans are doable. I am really hoping to make it to Tarzan Rocks. Every time we tried to make it the show was canceled because of rain!
The rapids we just always overlooked, well, since this will be our last WDW trip for a while we decided the Rapids are a must :)

I never seen Flights of Wonder either, but we do have AK scheduled for another day & I will see it then
See, DH will only be at WDW from 5/29-6/4, then he has to return back home to work. But I & my son will stay down there until 6/18 so we will fit Flights of Wonder in on another AK day if we can't fit it in on the first AK day.

Those five rides/attractions I listed in my first post are the "must sees" the DH really wants to see.
I told him the days he is there, we will do a lot of the rides/shows he wants to do since I will be there for another 2 weeks & then can do any rides/shows he didn't want to do but I did ;)

Ok were passholders so we go lots just came back from AK we were in and out 9-2 this is what we saw in the order we saw it..
We entered park I took off to get Fast Pass to the Safari.. Hubbie took off woith kids to It's tuff to be a Bug first show was at about 9:30 I waited out side bug and we headed for the rapids.. here is a TIP BIG TIP rapids opens at 10:00 it is NEVER crowded when it firat iopens It takes about anhour to get crowded (everyone is at the safari seeing the animals) We rode the Rapids 5 times Yep count them 5 times all we had to do was get off walk to the exit and turn around and reenter the fast pass they let you do this until there becomes a back up at the boats for about an hour till 11:00 there are still boats thatgo empty etc.. so take advantage You will be wet but WHO CARES it is summer..
We them headed to tarzan rocks then dinosaur and triceretops spin then off to safari we stopped and had lunch (we are fast eaters)before we headed to the safari then on the way out we hit lion king... hope this helps.

very doable. As soon as you can, get the showtimes and plan around those. Leaving by 2:00 givesb you some time because usually everyone starts lining up for the 3:0 parade.

Your list:

Festival of the Lion King
Safari
Tarzan Rocks
It's Tough to be a Bug
Rapids

If you do the Safari first and then get to the first Festival of the Lion King Show, that would be the best start. Check the schedule for Tarzan Rocks. You could make it to the first show of that as well depending on the timing, but you'd have to high-tail it over there after FotLK and maybe not end up with the best seats. Or, just see how things are at ITTBAB on your way over to Tarzan if the schedule seems too tight. It would also be my choice to do the Rapids last.

I've never been in June, but even so - your list seems very reasonable.
