I linked a magic band to my account, assigned it to someone in my party but it is not showing up as linked. When I try to redo it it shows as linked to an account

When I first entered the number it accepted it and allowed me to assign to someone. I finalized and linked 2 more but the 1 is missing

Does that person have their own account? You can assign a band to a friend, and then it will show up in their account; it won't be visible in your account.

Is the person you linked the magic band to "owned" by a separate disney account?
You will not be able to see their magic bands on your account if this is the case.

This was the cause of the confusion, that and the other party unable to find the “my bands” area. Thank you very much!!
