Help with Jedi Training Academy

Hey everyone! We will be visiting Disney for the first time ever in 9 days. We will be visiting Hollywood studios on May 30th. I have may Fast Passes set, and a general plan for the day. The only trip up is the Jedi Training Academy.

My 8 and 10 year old (boy and girl respectively) both want to be in the show, but I've never been to Hollywood Studios. I'm planning on being at the gate around 1 hour before open, but I don't know where to go to sign the kids up. Can anyone give me somewhat detailed directions on how to get from the gates to the sign up place? Any help is appreciated greatly!

not sure if you know but you'll be attending during Star Wars Weekends. JTA is even more popular on SWW. Be at the gate no later than 7am (the park officially opens at 8am but it really opens earlier) stay to the left of Hollywood Blvd and as soon as the Stormtroopers let us thru follow the CMs instructions to sign up. Sign ups during SWW are at the Indiana Jones theater. Good luck

Thank you! I do know we'll be there at Star Wars Weekend, but I have no idea what to expect other that large crowds. We are definitely planning on heading there at 7:00 AM. Again, thank you for the help!

take a look at page 1 of the SWW planning thread. I keep it up to date and has all the info you need without having to read 800 pages

remember that the kids will need to be with you at sign up. could not tell from your post if you knew that

Take a screenshot of your FPs and Dining Reservations with you so you'll be able to choose a JTA session that fits into your schedule.

Plan on an hour for the JTA experience. You'll need to check in 30 minutes before the JTA session and each session is 20 minutes. Don't be late for check in or your kids' spots will be given to others on the waiting list.
