I have a touring plan, but I have a few questions. Please jump in where you can help.

#1 Have PS on DS's Birthday for breakfast at CP at 8:05 (day that MK is NOT Early Entry). My touring plan says to be at MK by 7:50. Question: Do the boats from WL operate that early? If not...what's our best bet?

#2 We are going to the 6:00 La Nouba...leaving from Epcot. Question: What time should we leave Epcot? And...What is our best bet to get from Epcot to DTD?

#3 We are flying in the day before we check in (used Priceline for a cheap room by MCO) and then staying until close our last day (another night by MCO). We are not getting a car. Question: Has anyone used a rental agency and arranged to be picked up at a hotel...not MCO?

Thanks in advance for any advice and PD

1. I know the busses start operating an hour before the park opens. I imagine the boats would be the same. That makes it very close for you. We had this problem with our PS at AK. We were told that they hold your PS for 15 minutes. We were probably even a little later than that, but they held our PS, no problem.

2. I would take a bus from Epcot to DTD, but I don't know when you should leave.

3. I'm a little confused by your question. You say you're not getting a car. By "rental agency" do you mean a towncar service? I do know the car services will pick you up at your hotel, but I'm not sure if a one way fare is going to be any cheaper or easier than taking a taxi. It may depend on how many are in your group.

Thanks swilphil~

To clarify...yes, I mean a towncar service. We are a family of four. Can we just take a regular taxi? Does anyone know how that fare would compare to a towncar service?

Hey Penny,

I would have gladly answered these!

I called the Wilderness Lodge. They get the "early breakfast" question a lot. The Disney C/M I spoke with (a charming lady named Ethel) said the boats do run early enough for your breakfast. But, she said, if the boat isn't available for some reason, there is bus service that goes from the WL to the TTC, where you can pick up the resort monorail. I believe it's bus number 1. It takes about 25 minutes for the trip.

If you're going from Epcot to La Nouba, are you headed back to your resort to freshen up before the show? If so, I'd allow at least two hours from the time you leave Epcot until you get to DD.
If not heading back to your hotel, I'm thinking 75 minutes is sufficient. I believe there is bus service directly from Epcot to DD.

For your third question, I'm sure the towncar service will pick you up almost anywhere. I usually use Tiffany, but I've also heard good things about others. Let me know if you'd like more information.

Sincerely,

Len

Len,
Hey there! Wow...didn't even think to bother you with this! You were a great help. Watch out...now I know where to go for answers ;) This is more 'full service' than I knew.
Thank you.

Penny
