HELP with Grand Californian Room Request

Going to Disneyland next April. We've been there a couple of times but I would like to make a room request this time. We've never had a nice view when we were there and once was right behind the World of Disney store sign and it was noisy most of the evening. Can anyone give me some tips for a nice room (not ground floor either). Thanks!

Most of the villas have pretty good views. Mostly of the DCA or the Mariposa pool. The worst view I had staying in the dvc rooms was looking at the back side of the redwood creek area, just trees mostly. It was quiet though. The rooms facing the park can be noisy if you have your slider door open, but when it was closed I didn't hear a thing. You could request an upper floor room, that might improve your chances of a good view.

Those villas are very quiet, the most peaceful rooms in the resort

I have had good results emailing Member Services, usually soon after booking (always many months in advance)
