HELP with GOTG line-up info!

At park opening....
I know the Radiator line-up strategy** stay to the right of the crowd and walk with the rope while staying to the right and getting to front of line**

But, now I need Guardians line-up strategy??

Depends whether you're going straight to the ride, or getting FP. Straight to the ride, keep left in front of Elias & Co. and go down to the gateway arch in front of the theatre by Award Weiners. They'll tell you to use all available space. About ten minutes to opening, they'll start walking the mob back around by Mike and Sully, through narrower and narrower channels till you're pretty much single-file, through the Hyperion entrance, its queue, and finally into the ENTIRE queue for GotG. The walk itself takes the whole ten minutes leading up to park entry. That's how it worked this morning, anyway. We were in the second lift - the first was full of people who wound up there some other way.

Not sure if there is any real strategy other than get there before rope drop. There will be two lines on Buena Vista Street, Standby on the left and FP on the right. From my experience last week, we had two people go to the Standby line and two people in the FP line. They slowly walk you towards the FP kiosk so everyone moves at the same pace.

I was in the FP line and my friends in the Standby line said they were told if they went through the ride entrance gate, no one would be able to join them inside. This wasn't the case on Sunday as I saw several people going in and out of the Standby line so YMMV.
