I see there are some really good peeps whos love for Disney is great and they hold good knowledge to the parks. I am going in Dec and I have the dinner plan ( 1 table service, 1 snack, 1 quick) My question is I have one extra table service then the plan allows. I had to do it this way due to no openings to some things my kids and us want. I do not mind paying for the meal but wondering with the times and amount of food given (if big) if there is a way to make it all work so that extra table is under the plan or cheaper. Hense I am asking for the expert 'ears'.

My schedule is like this:

Sunday- 6:20 Dinner at Chef Mickey (breakfast at families home and lunch is a quick)

Monday- 3:50 dinner at Crystal Palace (breakfast in the room and it leaves a quick)

Tuesday - 9:05 Breakfast @ Tusker House or Donald's Safari

- 6:15 Whispering Canyon (I think that is it and this is the Xtra one)

Wednesday - 9:15 Breakfast @ O'hanas (trying to figure out how to work out the rest of the day meal wise here)

Thursday - 4:45 Garden Grill (breakfast in the room)

Friday - 12:00 Play and Dine

I want to make sure we do not get hungry come lunch and dinners when they are this spaced. I would like to see how close to the plan I can stay as well.

I'm a little confused by your post. I think you're saying that you have 1 extra TS scheduled than you have credits for? If so, pick the cheapest meal and pay for that out-of-pocket. The breakfasts are usually the cheapest buffets. Check the menu pricing at www.allearsnet.com or at the top of this page by clicking the word "Dining." I think Tusker House or OHana would be the best choices to pay for.

yes you made sense of my ramblings :) TY TY TY

I have never seen a link with menu/prices before so that helps a bunch. Your right there is a remarkable difference in prices for Tusker and Ohanas then dinner ones. I will just pay for one of those or both.

I guess I just picture us doing lunch and dinner daily but want the best for what my boys want lol. :thumbsup2

You're welcome! Glad to help! It's definitely a good idea to check out those menu links so you can get an idea of how much things cost. You also should consider calculating how much your dining experiences are going to cost, so you can budget for the gratuities on your table-service meals. Those are not included on the DDP.

Welcome to the DIS and I hope you have a magical trip!
