Help with choosing when to go in June?

I have heard of the Gay Days in June. Can anyone tell me when they are? I am trying to plan a trip to WDW, but it have a lot of kids going and would like to avoid that if I could. Can anyone help me? Thanks!

June 2 - 9. Gay Day in magic kingdom is on June 7.

Most people on here are going to tell you that GDs is no big deal and that you are being prejudiced. You have to research it and make that call for yourself. In general, though, the earlier you go in June the better because many schools, particularly up north, do not get out until mid-June. Also, the weather will just get more and more miserable as the summer progresses.

I wasn't sure and I am traveling with some older people and I'm not sure how they would act. I have about 6 children going too. I think I would be better to steer clear. But I wondered if it was a lot slower that time of year. I'm from the South and yes the summers are horrible, but I love the heat better than the cold. Thanks for your help!

We went during Gay Days last year and it truly didn't matter. We avoided the "chosen" park for that day (due to the crowds) and it just wasn't an issue.

I think you can google gaydays and they have their own website with all the dates and even individual plans for each day that week, hotels to book, etc.
