Help with Charm braclets!!

My DM purchased charm braclets for all four DGD's at the gift shop while we were on board the ship. We were told there that more charms could be purchased at our Disney store at home. Today my DM went to the Disney store to buy charms as Easter gifts, and lo and behold was told that you can only purchase the charms on board, or order them thus paying shipping and handling. Is this true? I hope not, as the whole reason she picked that as the GD's gifts was because she could continue to add to it until we cruise again...probably not for another two years! HELP anyone!

ebay! They have them...um...check local stores around you...are you looking for disney charms or will anything do?

Are these the inexpensive ones in Mickey Mates? They had the silver bracelets and necklaces. If so, they have the charms at Walt Disney World also. You can call 407-363-6200 for WDW Merchandise guest services,and explain what you are looking for. They are usually very helpful. They can be shipped for a very reasonable fee. If you get something that you don't like or is damaged, you can return it at the Disney Store. They just don't refund the shipping. If it was the expensive ones in Treasure Ketch, WDW might have those as well. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the answers. Yes these are the ones that run about $6.00 for the braclet, and $3.00 per charm. I guess that we were just hoping (or misinformed) that we would be able to purchase these directly at our local Disney store, therefore no shipping.

If I am correct in my thinking, if you are looking for the Italian Charms? I just happened to look on disney.com last night and the store now has the Italian Charms on line! I was VERY excited to see this...although they are $25 EACH! Ouch! I may have to splurge and get one or two, but a whole bracelet would be tooooo much for me! Also, they are all over EBAY. the charms you can get at stores like claire's and afterthoughts, and sometimes in stores like the hallmark store. i can't say whether or not there's disney ones, but there's tons to choose from, and very inexpensive. the ones at claire's i saw yesterday for about $1.25 each.
