Help with BWV sleeping arrangements

Hi all,
In 10(!) days my DD3 and I will be flying to FL to join my parents for a quick Disney trip. My parents are DVC members and we are all staying together in a 1-bedroom villa at the BoardWalk. I've enjoyed reading the board over the last few months, and have come across loads of great ideas - thanks!

My question is this- since my DD and I will be sharing a room with my parents, I was wondering if you all had any ideas for sleeping arrangements? My parents will be in the bedroom, and I will be on the sleeper sofa. I'm not sure what to do with DD. She will most likely be falling asleep (hopefully, anyway) before my parents and I. My original plan was to purchase a kids' AeroBed and to put her to sleep in the bedroom while the adults are still awake, and then when we go to sleep, pull the bed out into the living room where she'll be with me.

Have any of you done this or have experience with the kids' AeroBed. I haven't actually purchased it yet, so I am also wondering if it's worth the extra $, or if I can use just a twin size instead? Would a twin be too big? I'm also guessing that at 3 my DD is too big for the Pack n' Plays that they have at the resorts?

Thanks!

I don't have any experience with Aerobeds, but your plan sounds like it would work.

Is your DD a heavy sleeper? If so, another option would be to let her fall asleep in the bed in the bedroom, and then just carry her to the sleepsofa once the adults are ready to go to sleep. We've done that many times.

My DS did sleep in the PnP when he was 3, but he was on the small side. My DS slept in a bed at home but insisted on sleeping in the PnP on that trip :confused3. If your DD is small, that may work as well.

I would let your DD fall asleep in the master bedroom and then move her to pull out sofa with you when your parents go to sleep. No need for the aero bed unless she is an extremly light sleeper. My kids were always so zonked after a day at WDW that once they were asleep I could move them anywhere.

If one of your parents wants to go in early and the other is up, I would just let the 3 year old stay there until both of your parents go to bed, then move her.

Every trip I have had with my parents the kid that was 2 or 3 often fell asleep right on the couch sitting between us and we just went on like they were not even there!

We have done the Pack N Play but honestly my kids never really stayed in them the whole night but it is another option. Its a standard sized Pack N Play. I think its a Graco.

My 3 yo slept in a Pack N Play in January (3 years, 2 months) at WDW. She was/is (at 3 1/2) still in a crib, so I felt that it was the best way to go. She was very content in the PNP.

Personally, I would go with this route if possible.

We will be staying in a 1br at the beach in July. That is pretty much our plan - let the kids fall asleep in the br and move them to the living room pullout when we get ready for bed.

The master bedroom closet is HUGE - and a lot of DVCers use it for a camping spot for younger kids - I'm not sure what ventilation is like in there - you may want to leave the door open.
