I am looking at renting points to book a 2 BR value at AKL. It says most sleep up to 9. How can I make sure that the unit I got slept 9. We will have 9 people that we have to have beds for.

Thanks for the help.

I don't think the AKV value rooms will sleep 9 unless it is 8 and a child under 3 who can sleep in the pack and play. There is not enough room for a sleeper chair in them from what I have read on other threads. Hopefully someone who has stayed in one will let you know.

The above is correct, there is no sleeper chair in the value units at Jambo.

Does Kidani have value units that would sleep 9?

Only Jambo House has Value units. All of the units in Jambo House are converted hotel rooms. The Values were standard hotel rooms and the other JH units were deluxe hotel rooms.

From my understanding, by "most rooms sleep 9" they mean "all rooms except value rooms sleep 9, value rooms sleep 8."

The values represent 10% of the villas available at AKV so it is a smaller number. You can get a standard view villa for lower points (not a low as a value though) or you might consider a 2 BR at OKW and save a point per night over the standard view point per night cost. Those 2BRs also sleep nine since they now have a sleeper chair in the living room.

Because you have the full 9 people, I would go with 2 bedroom standard view at Kidani over OKW because then you would have 3 full bathrooms. OKW will have 2 queens in the second bedroom, but there are dedicated standard view 2 bedrooms that would have the 2 queens in Kidani as well.
