I am freaking out! I just read our reservation (November), we booked our flights through Disney directly and they're only showing 3 seat assignments (DH,me,DS7) and not one for DD who is 3. Has anyone had this experience before? Does that mean she doesn't have a seat? If she's 3 she'll need a seat.

Also, if she doesn't have a seat will they charge us more for that? Will they book her a seat and keep it at the same price that we were quoted?

I tried calling Disney today but, of course, with BOG ressies opening I can't get through.

Is it showing her with a ticket but no seat? or no ticket at all?

Hopefully they just missed assigning her a seat but bought her a ticket.

Thanks for answering! She is shown on the reservation, it goes like this
Mr. xxxx xxxxx seat 13A
Mrs. xxxx xxxx Seat 13B
Master xxxx xxx Seat 13C
Ms. xxxx xxxxxx

Does the money add up? the way you show it they could have her as a lap child (which she can't be) or they missed picking a seat for her.

Hopefully one of the experts on here will be able to tell you what else to look for. All I can say is break down the money and see if it seems to include another ticket. If the amount doesn't add up then I'd worry.

I'd keep trying to call. And I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

But start with looking at what they charged you and what they said the airline tickets were.

Hmmm. I'm not sure. I'm not seeing where the charges are, it looks as though it's all a package, where can I find it broken down?

Thanks again!

Did you get an answer yet? Families and seat assignments is a hot topic with airlines these days...

Yes I'm curious to! You have to have gotten thru by now, did they goof and not get her a ticket? Or just goof and forget to assign her a seat? -maybe there were only 3 available for assigning and the wanted to grab those while they were there and knew you would get the 4th at the airport.

We want to know! You can't leave us hanging once you have piqued our curiosity.

I'm not saying this applies to the OP but some parents "forget" about their child's birthday so they don't have to pay for park tickets.

Also possible system issue, a child who's 2-3 doesn't pay for Disney tickets but has to pay for airfare. Is it possible, under some circumstances, Disney's system doesn't make that distinction?

I hope the only issue is assigning a seat.

Disney doesn't break down the cost of a package. As long as Disney has the age right the mistake, if any, is up to Disney to correct.

By the way the air reservation is yours. Feel free to call the airline in question and check on seat assignments. If WDW has given you an airline confirmation number, sometimes you can lookup your reservation on the airlines website.

Doesn't an airline reservation normally belong to the travel agency?

A few years ago Disney blocked consolidator fares with Airtran. Fuel costs went up and the fares were less then what you would have paid booking directly with Airtran.
