Help with adult only meal

Backstory: We are flying in with my parents and the kids and staying at the Royal Pacific Resort at Universal for one night. The next day we do Universal then DH and I check into the Boardwalk leaving the kids with my parents at Universal for the night.

We want to eat somewhere near the Boardwalk and we wont be entering a park that night.

Which would you try?

Blue Zoo

We arent thinking about money or trying a place without kids. We dont really care if kids are there juts as long as I dont need to cut their meat. I dont eat red meat but love chicken. I cant eat spicy due to a stomach condition.

Bascially we are thinking good food and service! What would you recommend?

Garden Grill is inside Epcot. You may be referring to the Garden Grove buffet at the Swan resort.

Shula's is red meat paradise and if you don't eat seafood or meat I am not sure Bluezoo is for you.

I did mean Garden Grove. I do eat seafood and pasta and poultry. Dh LOVES red meat.

Since you don't eat red meat and DH does, I'm going to suggest another option that you don't have listed and say Flying Fish which is actually on the Boardwalk. I have read good things about the steak (I personally don't order steak in a seafood restaurant so I have never tried it for myself). FF is one of our favorites. The caramelized banana napoleon may be the best dessert on property. We actually decided to do the Chef's Wine Tasting Dinner there on our next trip which is a 5 course meal with wine pairings. After tax and tip the cost is about $155 per person (we are very exciting to try this and could be an option if your looking for something really special). Even if you decide to just have a regular dinner at FF, you won't be disappointed.

You know, I've read a lot of negative reviews of Kouzzina on the Boardwalk, but during my last trip in late Jan-early February, it was by far the best meal of the week. I had the fisheman's stew, and it was fabulous. I'm from Maine, and I eat a LOT of seafood, and this was an excellent dish. My friends both had lamb dishes and were very pleased. The waitstaff was impeccable, something you don't often get at any restaurant. I highly recommend it.

Dined at Bluezoo, Il Mulino, and Flying Fish last week, and I would rank them in that same order..........enjoyed dinner at all 3.

For a wonderful upscale seafood dining experience, I strongly recommend BlueZoo. The food is superb and the ambiance is very elegant.

BlueZoo is quieter than Flying Fish. Both are excellent.

Hmmm. You know I have read not great things about some of the places but now I am hearing rave reviews. And Flying Fish is now in there along with Cat's new place. I am soo confused!! It's a good confused though.

You can't really go based on random strangers reviews, thoughts and opinions. You have to take everything you read and the answers from just about every question you ask with a big grain of salt. You will see just as many people rave about a restaurant that also had awful experiences at the same place. Sure, it's nice to hear what people say, but it will only make things more confusing. The best advice I can give is to narrow your choice down to 2 or 3, go on allears and get a feel for what is offered on the menus and pick whatever is most appealing to your DH and you.

Please note that menu's do change. Whatever menu you look it may change from the time you look at it to the time you get there. Also, the menus may not be up to date as it is. That is why I said to just get a feel for what they offer.

I think I am putting too much into it. I have been to Disney 14 times and many of them with DH. But we havent been without kids in 12 years. For some reason this 24 hours alone with him in my favorite place is making me gunshy. I'm afraid to pick the wrong place.

So I put up the poll and I am sticking with the results. That's that. Bluezoo won with 57% of the votes. We have 6:30 ressies on Nov 7th! Thanks!!

but with you not liking red meat. Go with BLueZoo as it blows away FF for quality and taste.

And their steak is very good too as it is what my non-seafood son always gets.
