I'm sure that some of you have done Splash Mountain layouts with your purchased pictures. A VERY dear and sweet fellow DISer gave me a copy of our Splash Mountain 1st time ride. You can imagine that I want this to be a special one in my scrapbook, but I can't recall ever seeing ANY Splash Mountian layouts that has used the one that is bought from them. It is a picture that will go from the top of a page to the bottom, and put all the way to one side or another. Have any of you done one that you would be willing to post and share? Thanks a bunch!

PS. To all Disney swap group, I'm pretty please w/how my Tinkerbell has came out so far. I've learned not to outline with a black sharpie :) Now comes the part that I have been dreeding the most. The facial features. YUK!! You may get a generic Tinkerbell :)

If you can get your hands on a copy of the Creating Keepsakes "The Big Idea Book of Disney Memories" look at pg 77. There are 2 different 2 page spreads.

The first actually uses the photo & the mat (folder) the picture comes in.

The second uses just the purchased photo along with some photos they took in the ride & 2 paper dolls in a log.

Both layouts very similar in color......

I would can them for you, but I've already been "slapped" once on the internet for showing something that was copyrighted. Even had 2 of my layouts deleted from a photosharing site because of copyright infrigement. (sorry - got off track)

Cut off the side of the frame with the picture in it and set it katercorner on one 12x12 page. (Our group had filled the whole log) For the facing page, I split the cover side of the pasteboard frame through the thickness (yes, it's a pain) and trimmed off the "waves" part and made it a border down the side and two or three snapshots of the mountain scenery on it. the Two page title was "friends drop in" .

On the frame side, you'll notice a little scallop where the frame tucks into the back to hold ithe photo in. I copied that scallop at even intervals around the whole frame, so it looks as though it was meant to be there.
