Funny how Disney never bothered calling ME when they double charged me. I didn't even realize it right away but just happened to check my online statement one day for something else and found my checking account in shambles. ALSO, the "ticket investigator" never called back to see if I got my refund or follow up with me after their big mistake. What kind of service is that? I called their offices at least 5-6 times that day, long distance, to try and resolve the problem. The man also told me they would reimburse all fees, which I listed for him, and he said he would "take care of it asap".... so why shouldn't I assume the second credit was for my fees and my trouble? If it wasn't then where is the credit for the fees? If the second credit was a mistake then he would have sent the amount for the fees that day.... but I've only recieved two credits, not three. So when is Disney accountable for these mistakes instead of me???
I am really offended you think I'm stealing! They put the money in my account, and it's still there. It covered the fees just as they promised, plus extra of course, and the money is still there. Many people probably wouldn't even have noticed the extra money until the end of the month statement came. If Disney wants to charge me again that's fine, but then they owe me for the fees, so that's another phone call to straighten that out.
I actually don't find it surprising at all that they would comp the tickets. I know many people who have received free park tickets for things much less damaging... poor maid service, bad check-in experiences, etc. Why is my problem less important? Why should I have to make more long distance phone calls?? Nobody from Disney is calling me or writing me a letter.
