Help! Which towncar/limo service to use?

Will be arriving late at night (one woman and a child) at Orlando airport. Would like to use one of the towncar services as opposed to renting a car. Which one is most reliable and dependable? Do all the drivers have background/criminal records checked? Has anyone ever had a problem with their driver (safety related?) - Also, as a birthday surprise for the child, do you think it's silly to rent a limo (as a big surprise) since there's only the two of us? Thanks!

Ditto for Tiffany, we're just back and loved them. We were supposed to be picked up at 9am on Tuesday and I called at 7am to see if we could be picked up earlier. They were there within 10 minutes.

We've had great luck with Happy Limo. If you would be more comfortable, you could probably request a woman driver. We have had Cynthia from Happy several times, and she is great!
