Help! Where should we eat our LAST morning breakfast?

So factor in rush hour. Precheck is awesome.

Flight boards at 10ish
You want to be there a little early
Figure drop the car at 9, head to the airport
Do you need to check luggage?
Get through security, then head to your gate

I would leave no later than 8

Sunshine head to the wave. It is relaxing and a great way to end a trip :flower:

We love the Grand Floridian Cafe for breakfast! Its a must do every trip and we usually start or end with it. The breakfast is awesome with lots of really classic choices. We love that is very laid back and has a nice press pot coffee and bloody mary. I usually get a lox and bagel (so hard to turn that down) and my husband always gets the vanilla bean french toast. Quick plug for the lobster Benedict! It would be a less chaotic vibe than 1900 Park Fare, would get to do some last minute shopping at the GF, and you can take a really nice stroll there from the Poly.

We are our last breakfast at Kona. Delicious coffee and our first sampling of the Tonga Toast. We wished we'd eaten there earlier in the trip so we knew how good it was and could eat there again before we went home!

We've eaten at GF cafe and the Wave. The Wave was my favorite of the two. We liked the food better and it was a nice, relaxing meal.

Have a great trip!

Not to hijack this thread but we have a 7:30am Boma breakfast reservation on our departure day, and our flight leaves at 10:30 am from mco, we have a rental car, we do have tsa pre. Is this enough time? Will be too rushed?

Probably not. You'll need to be at MCO at 8:30 - definitely I wouldn't suggest later than 9:00 (security can get brutal - we've breezed through in 10 minutes with TSA pre-check and been there when it wasn't open for some reason so over 1 hour in line). Assume at least minimum 1 hour from hotel to rental car drop-off to luggage drop-off; that means leaving the restaurant at 8:00 at the latest and I'd suggest you want to be at MCO at least two hours prior to flight.

The Wave is our traditional last breakfast spot regardless of which resort we are staying at. We drive so getting there is no problem. The food and service is so good.

We have all these breakfasts (bar Boma) on our itinerary this trip, but, we are at the Grand Floridian, and our last day breakfast is Grand Floridian Cafe.

Thanks for the info. We are staying at AKL so we are going to load our stuff in the car. Be at breakfast at 7:15. Ask to pay when we sit down and be outta there by 8. Since this is only a weekend trip but we are celebrating our 23 anniversary I want to eek out every second out of it!

For food alone, The Wave is tops on my list, followed by a close 2nd for Kona. 1900 wouldn't be on my list. I like the characters but there is nothing special or memorable about the food.
You are right, the pancakes and grits are must haves at The Wave! The buffet is always fresh and the waitstaff is on to of their game.
