Hi, this will be our first time at WDW DEC 26-JAN 3. I have been reading all
the post on NYE and I am a little worried. We are planning to go to Epcot
that night for PS at Biergarten at 8 then take the kids back to the resort for
the kids club. Will my husband and I be able to return to Epcot after that
or should we just keep the kids with us? Also we were hoping to go to AK
that morning for a couple of hours, should we go to Epcot first and get our
hand stamped then go the AK? Hope I didn't confuse yall.
Thanks
Stacie

I forgot to ask can we use our PS to get into Epcot even if it does close?
Thanks again
Stacie

I would go to AK first thing in the am as planned and then move over to Epcot. I'd forget about the kid's club and keep them with you. I'm not sure they club would keep them after midnight anyway (you'd have to check) as they are usually closed before then. Last year Epcot was VERY crowded all afternoon and evening. You may find that you don't even make it to midnight because of the crowded atmosphere, if it is anything like last year.

Seeing WDW through your childs' eyes is one of the most wonderful gifts you can give yourself. I'd deep-six any idea of sending the kids off somewhere and just enjoy EPCOT as a family. Not knowing where your resort is, but if you wanted to leave EPCOT, take the monorail back to MK or the boat from EPCOT to MGM for some alternate transportation ideas that give you different views of the World. I would imagine that most of the Parks stay open quite late that particular evening. :flower1:

Don't plan on park hopping NYE. If you're going to be in the MK get there by 9 am and don't plan on leaving as you will not be let back in. I would think with Epcot you could get there a bit later, but the one year we did do Epcot my kids then about 5 and 8 were bored and we ended up at the MK and luckily did get in. They were checking ID that you were onsite. If you weren't the didn't even let you on the monorail.

All that said, Disney at Christmas is wonderful. Enjoy!

Hi guys thanks for the advice. We are staying at AKL, and have decided to
go to Epcot and get a stamp on the hands then go to AK for the day. Go back to the resort to rest for a few hours then get to Epcot for our 8:00 Ps
at Biergarten.(Keeping the kids with us.) My question can they turn us away from our Ps at 8 since wehad to give credit number because of NYE. If they do that will cost us$$$ if we don't show. Does anyone have any advice on this?
Thanks :D
Stacie

We're also going to be at Epcot on NYE, and from what I have been told a PS will not guarantee you admission. :( If you are unable to get in, you can go to Guest Services and they will take care of the charges. Have a great trip & see ya there! :)
