We will be going to Disney for the first time in July. Our 90 day PS is coming up this week and I am so overwhelmed with all the different things to do. I have 3 children - 2 girls ages 3 and 6 and a 1 year old son. My girls love all the princesses (especially Cinderella) and they love Lizzie McGuire. My 1 year old will either hate or love everything he sees.

What suggestions do you have - what is a must do or a must see? I am looking for all types of suggestions - character breakfasts, shows, attractions.

Thanks for all your help.

If you can get the Cinderella's castle breakfast, that would be great...but don't stress out about it too much. We've done both that one and the Cinderella dinner at the Grand Floridian. The castle was more magical (and had more princesses) but the one at the Grand Floridian was fun, too. Cinderella spent LOTS of time with my 4yo. We also LOVE Chef Mickey's, and have done it almost every trip. (We've done both dinner and bfast there...dinner is not much more expensive and has better food!) Another advantage of doing meals at the resorts is that you can do them on non-park days.

I like doing character meals at lunch time in the parks, too. It's a good way to take a mid-day break in the A/C, and get some quality character time too. Our favorites are the Crystal Palace at MK (Pooh and friends) and the Garden Grille at EPCOT (Mickey, Chip and Dale.)

We've done Cinderella in the Castle and at the Grand Floridian. We loved them both. It's very magical being inside the castle. DD was 3 1/2 when we first did that and she was in awe of it all. Chef Mickey's is always a must for us too. DS (3) LOVES it. Especially seeing the monorail right there. The Princess breakfast in Epcot was good too. The kids didn't really go for the food though. And Cinderella isn't at that one. Crystal Palace is very good. We've all enjoyed that one. Good luck with whatever you decide! princess:

We went to the one in the castle, and it was really great! I enjoyed it more than the one at the Grand Floridian. I would go for the one at the castle if you can get it.

I would try and get CRT, but don't stress about it Your daughters can meet Cindy in the tent at ToonTown and be just as satisfied with that as eating breakfast and meeting her for a split second there, although they will get to meet a lot of other princesses at CRT too. We did CRT last year and it was very nice and special to get to eat in the castle.

I would also make PS for Crystal Palace and a PS for either 'OHana or if you are going to be at AK, for Donald's Breakfastaurus. It is kind of key in my mind to see Mickey too. Crystal Palace will be a big hit for your three and one year old - plus we just went last week and we were astounded at how good the meal was. This is now on my must do list every time. I recommend 'OHana's and Donalds and not Chef Mickey's because they are a little calmer and better for younger children. 'Ohanas would be your best bet as it is not a buffet and is served family style. This takes a lot of the stress of a character breakfast out of the event. Plus the costumes of the characters are so neat at these two locations.

On a totally different note - if you have the time and the extra spending mony for it don't miss Hoop Dee Doo Revue with your kids - they will love it as will you.

I say Chef Mickey's is a definite! We go every trip and prefer dinner over breakfast there. We have never had a bad experience there. We also like the Garden Grill in Epcot for dinner. You could try the Cinderella dinner at the Grand Floridian, which is nice. Prince Charming spent an enormous amount of time with our son, helping him make dessert before he even ate his dinner! Our son really enjoyed this.

As for breakfast with any of the Princesses, we love the one at the castle better than the princess breakfast in Epcot. You seem ore princesses at Epcot, but I felt rushed and did not like the service. We have done CRT twice, and would highly recommend it. I did not feel rushed here and really enjoyed the experience.

Good luck with whatever you decide!!

We always go to Chef Mickey's. It's a great time. This year DD is 4 and loves the princesses. I called at our 60 day PS time. I was told to start calling at 6:50 am est time. So I did. Finally at 7:02 I got through. I was then put on hold for 10 minutes! When I got to talk to a human she said, "I'm sorry we're booked up for that date!!" I almost got sick. I was looking forward to it more than my DD. When I got home from work, (that's where I called from ;) ) I told my wife. Then I decided to call and see if there were any cancellations. My wife said I was nuts. It was still the first day we could call for the PS on that date. Low and behold, to my surprise and that of the CM on the line, there was a cancellation and we squeeked in!!! Moral, don't give up on your dreams.

Good luck and have fun.

Another BIG vote for CRT - quite worth the trouble!!! DD's 7 and 9 LOVED it so much and plan to do it again at 9 and 11!! Just follow directions on the Restaurant boards and go for it! If you have park hopper passes just try for every single day you're there until you hopefully get in. I got it my second morning. As previous poster said, they do get cancellations all the time since you must pay up front - you can keep trying that way as well.

Second fav is Crystal Palace, but we're planning on Chef Mickey's next time because of all the wonderful reviews.

Have a wonderful time!

About my last reply.

Although we love Chef Mickey's I was babbling on about my PS calls to CRT! Hope I didn't confuse anyone.
