Help - want to add on AKV b/v price increase

I just called our guide, Susie Farnsworth (who we like!) and she's out until Thursday. Her message says price will be honored when she gets back - would you relax and just wait until Thursday? Does Disney extend the date for guides who are out until they get back??

Thanks in advance - I don't want to jump over her and I'm not complaining about her - just don't want to lose the rate!!

edit: just called back and re-listened to her message, she said lower price and incentives will apply, so I guess I should just relax.

Hah, you're not the only paranoid weirdo. We became new members recently (in the last couple of weeks), and had to call within 3 days after returning from WDW to lock in an incentive rate ($8/pt credit for AKV). We had two guides who pitched DVC to us at an open house, and when I called the first, her voicemail said she'd be out for a couple days, but that a voicemail would lock in any incentives. So I left a message, but when she didn't get back to me the next day (and her voicemail indicated a pushed-back return date), I called the other guide instead.

He said they (the two of them) shared commissions anyway, so no guides were harmed during the purchase of my new membership.

Short answer: I dunno, but you can probably trust the voicemail (even though I didn't).

I bet your a sucker for going out of business sales too!

Relax and take a deep breath. DVD is in the business of selling units. They will honor the price. Work with your Guide and try to get any extras that they can offer. Gift cards, fast passes, etc. Good Luck.

if you didn't do it know. So you and she have proof that you didn't get before because she wasn't around.
