Help w/one-day car rental!!!

We originally had planned to drive from NJ to WDW, but, due to the incredible airfares, we are now flying. We have planned to spend a day at IOA ~ now, how do we get there??? I was kicking around the idea of taking a shuttle, but I think it may be better if we rented a car for the day (we were planning on having dinner at Fish Bones, just off International Dr ). How do we go about a one-day rental? Is this offered at Guest Services? Also, who has the best rates? (we will need a vehicle for 7 passengers) Any help out there???

I'll be sipping a pina-colada by OPR pool in:
3 days - 2 hours - 5 minutes - WOOHOO!!

A few years ago we rented a car from one of the downtown disney hotels, but cant remember which one. They came and picked us up at Wilderness Lodge and brought us back. There is also a place right outside or inside the Magic Kingdom gates. Maybe national??? We need the number also as we will need a car for 2 days also. I think we called main # and they connected us.? Lori

National is at the WDW Car Center. Dollar is at the Courtyard by Marriott.
