Help w/ Epcot pick-up

Tomorrow I'm going on a group trip to Epcot. At the end of the day I will not be going home on the group's bus. My family will be driving to Orlando to pick me up. Does anyone know if there a spot they can drive to at the entrance of Epcot to pick me up or do they need to park in the lot?

I am sure that to enter the Epcot parking lot they would have to pay the parking fee. It's either $7.00 or $8.00, not sure.
I understand that there is a free parking area at the Boardwalk Inn that is used by people who want to visit/shop/eat in the boardwalk area. You can exit Epcot at the International Gateway, which is in the far end of World Showcase area where the United Kingdom is. It is maybe a ten minute walk to the Boardwalk Inn from there. You can also take the Friendship boat but it's faster to walk.
