Help w/anti virus software

I was having problems accessing some of my programs so I decided to use backtrack on my computer - it worked and I was able to get back into my programs. However, now my Norton Anti Virus will not work. I can do live update, check for viruses but it is not continually checking and keeps coming up that it is disabled. Thanks for any help!

you probably need to change an option called "realtime protection" or something named like that. Should be in the option section of the program. If you see a Norton icon next to the computer time, you could try right clicking on the icon and see if you can enable realtime protection.
