Hi! I am usually well-versed in the steps to disable the motion sensors on thermostats at Disney resorts, but I'm currently staying at the DVC Jambo House and NOTHING I find online works. Does anybody know the way to do it?

It's an INNCOM e4-3, and the normal INNCOM VIP instructions don't work because this thermostat is super old and does NOT have an On/Off button. I have tried everything, and it's super humid and hot in my room.

If ANYONE can help, I would greatly appreciate it. It's sweltering! I actually looked up the model number, and it's an INNCOM e4-3. The issue is, there is NOT an On/Off button so the usual instructions won't work. HELP!

Below are photos of the unit:

For now stop at the front desk and request to have maintenance override the thermostat. Yes you can call the "Front Desk" from your room but that goes to a call center and will take longer.

A picture of the unit would help our research. BTW the override will last 72 hours after the maintenance person sets it manually.

ETA: request for picture and 72 hour comment.

Put up a picture and I'll see if I can help. These thermostats were a collaboration between Honeywell and Inncom and a pic will do me better for sorting out exactly which it is.

Is the air-mover working? If air is coming out of the vents, the problem might not be the thermostat. I had this happen on the last night of one of our family vacations and the maintenance crew totaled us out and we got moved to another room for the night.

Call maintenance and then videotape the instructions.

Why is there not a thread pinned with these instructions for every resort? If I asked what color grout is used in the tile at any random resort I could probably get an answer, but something important like AC overrides I've had to call maintenance.

I am not clear on what issue you are having. Are you saying the 'arrow' buttons to the side of the temperature display don't allow you to adjust the present temperature? Motion sensors are generally designed for energy saving when there is no one moving around in the room.

The problem with the motion sensors is that they stop the AC in the middle of the night and the room heats up to much.

Thats cool during the day when no one is in the room, but not much help at night when it shuts off. I can't sleep if its above like, 68 so this is a big issue for me.

Outdoor temp usually drops at night. Sounds like an issue with how long of a delay time there is on the motion sensor or else everyone in that hotel would be reporting the same problem
