Our 90 mark is fast aproaching, and we need help narrowing down our list for ADR's...we will be on the dining plan for 5 days and paying for 2 days...you may pick up to 7...Thanks
or if you have any favorite not listed, let us know

The 7 I picked:

Le Cellier
Boma
Ohaha
Tusker House
Rose and Crown
Coral Reef
Tonys

I wouldn't miss Ohana for dinner! I vote for Ohana, Tusker, Rose and Crown, Big River, Chef Mickey's (good characters, not so much the food)...the rest we could skip, but I know others will feel differently!

The only suggestion I would have for you is to consider the Plaza if you're looking for a meal in MK....(I see you have Tony's)

Have fun!

we love 'Ohanas for dinner too...when we were there in May we had a table in front of the window and had an awesome view of Wishes

I chose:

'Ohana. It's always our first meal of the trip.

Tony's. It's always our last meal of the trip.

I cannot imagine going to WDW and not eating at both of the above.

I also chose:

Boma. Their carrot-ginger soup is worth the trip alone!

Rose n Crown. Fish and Chips to die for.

Coral Reef. Really good steak, go figure. Grab a table by the fish tank.

I would also throw in 50s Prime Time, at DHS. Good, solid food, fun atmosphere, and not terribly hard on the pocket book.

I voted for Tony's because we had our 2nd best meal of the week there last time (behind leCellier.) Other favorite meals were at Teppan Edo and the character breakfast at 'Ohana.
You should have several backup restaurants ready in case you can't get into your favorites. 'Ohana and LeCellier are extremely tough to get. As a rule, lunch at LeCellier is easier to get than dinner.

Good Luck getting Le Cellier.:rotfl: Also might try CRT or 1900 Park Fare.
It's very possible, I'm going in Oct. during free dining and first had a lunch reservation, then two weeks later found a dinner reservation so I cancelled the lunch reservation and got me a dinner reservation instead. Just gotta be lucky and also keep checking. Cancellations happen everyday.

I picked 5:

Chef Mickey - Fun, and a great way to start off a vacation by seeing the fab 5!
Boma- Tasty, and a good excuse to explore the Animal Kingdom Lodge.
Ohana - Awesome, my favorite restaurant in Disney for dinner!
Coral Reef - Great, atmosphere is hard to beat and the service has always been terrific.
Rose & Crown - So I've never eaten here but I have gotten a drink here from the ADORABLE British bartenders and the Hat Lady that sings songs at the piano is hilarious. It's really cute in there and I hope to eat here on my next trip.

we have done CRT (last Dec), and don't really care to do it again...we have been lucky in the past and gotten Le Cellier with out any problem (last Dec also) I mentioned 1900 Park fair but husband isn't really interested:confused3

we ate at Prime Time last Dec and while the food was good our server was boring (and the atmosphere is why we chose it) and to make matter worse we had an ADR and still waited 80 minutes to be sat:confused3

Hokey smokes, Bullwinkle! Waiting 80 minutes to be seated is totally unacceptable. I hope you got some sort of recompense. And an explanation!

nope & nope....funny thing is when we ate at Mama Melroses (same trip, different day) we checked in 15 minutes before our ADR, and sat down right there in the room in front of the check in desk...they were turning lots of people away without ADRs....but they were calling lots of names....then we started noticing them seating other parties of 2 that had checked in well after us....our ADR was for 5:05 .....at 6pm my husband walked over and asked if there was a reason we hadn't been seated....they looked at their list and said we "had " been seated:confused3my husband explained we had been sitting there the entire time and our name was never called:confused:
she proceeded to tell him again that we had been seated....he asked for a manager, and he too said yes we had been seated...by now my husband was losing patience and asked if we were goona get seated or not? they found us a table and that was the end of it...no appology or anything:confused3

The same thing happened to us at Narcoossee's one year. It turned out our pager was broken :headache: Luckily, I said something the second another group of 2 who checked in after us was seated before us and they said they'd been paging us for a while.

Not my fault... don't they usually check those things before they hand them out?

We didn't even get an apology either. Your situation is much more agravating too so I'm surprised you didn't get an apology either. Definitely not make or break for us especially since we love Narcoossee's but it stunk. I would definitely understand you not wanting to go to Mama Melrose again either... the food isn't great anyway.

I wouldn't worry too much if you can't get Le Cellier. The last 3 times I've been there it hasn't been that great anyway :goodvibes. Boma is delicious though!

I'm glad to see Boma is rating so high as we have never eaten there before and since we are staying at AKV for 5 nights I really want to try it this time
