We (Me, DW and DD6) are currently booked for two nights at Caribe Royale for an upcoming weekend trip in March. We very much like the idea of having a one bedroom suite and the privacy that it affords.

In reviewing what's available on LastMinuteTravel, it appears that a Deluxe Queens room at Wyndham Bonnet Creek is available for $10 less per day (before parking and resort fees).

For those who have stayed at both (or either), can you give a comparison? Would the incremental costs be worth it to stay at Wyndham?

My six year old wants to put some smileys on this post, so here goes: :mic: :cheer2:

I haven't stayed at either one but I wouldn't want to give up the 1 bedroom.

Not sure what a Deluxe Queen is at Wyndham Bonney Creek? It is a timeshare resort. Is it a one or two bedroom villa? They don't have hotel rooms there. WBC is definitely a big step up from Caribe Royale in terms on resort amenities.

I haven't stayed at either, but I wouldn't pay additional for parking and resort fees if I didn't have to. You should definitely weigh the pros and cons of each resort. Decide how much time you think you will be at the resort and decide if it is worth the money for the amenities.

I wouldn't switch if I were you. The grounds at the Wyndham Bonnet Creek Hotel (which is pretty much right on the same grounds as the timeshare) are gorgeous and the pool is great.

However...$31/day for fees including the resort fee and self-park? No thanks! Plus, like you, I would prefer the 1 bedroom suite over a single room with 2 queen beds.
