Help us decide which Excursion to buy

I wouldn't worry too much about the discontinuing thing...from what I've read in the auto mags and the automotive news FOrd will most likely be replacing the Excursion with a (or more appropriately re-naming the Excursion) to the Expedition XL or something to that effect to signify the larger size.

We used to have an Expedition and with the 3rd row there is NO cargo space left, so I think Ford has also realized that and can inflate Expedtion sales by offering the current platform as well as a "stretched" platform.

Personally, I'd keep looking until I found exactly what I wanted. I didn't read all the replies but is there a reason it has to be one of these. When we bought our vehicle we used www.edmunds.com and they were able to find exactly the configuration we wanted. It wasn't here it GA but the service had it shipped to a local dealership.
