We are celebrating our40th wedding anniversary and taking a trip to Europe in June and a trip to disneyworld in November. We got quotes from that travel agency I will not mention port orleans riverside 6 nights with 5 day park hopper passes for 2230 standard room,3400 for contemporary and 3600 for beach club.we will visit all parks equally. Transportation ease is a priority and access to all parks. Which would you all choose and why. Thankyou in advance

Beach Club for easy access via walking or boat to 2 parks.
POR has boat access to DS but buses to all parks. CR. has walking access to only MK.
We love BC for the location

CR but we love the MK resort areas more than any other. Next we ours be BC for us.

I would get a quote for a room only reservation and price out tickets from UT. If you would walk to HS and Epcot, I would chose Beach Club. November shouldn't be super hot or super rainy.

If you are OK with an outside entry moderate like POR, You might want to consider Caribbean Beach if you would enjoy taking the new (should late spring/early summer 2019) as it will have gondola transportation to Epcot and DHS
(Art of Animation and PoP Century will also have a farther stop on the gondola line)

Otherwise Beach Club would generally be the most romantic..unless you are talking about a tower room in the Contemporary.

If you will visit all parks equally, for ease of transportation, I would pick BC. You will be right next to EP, so a short walk there, plus you can walk or boat to DHS. CR would be my second choice as you can walk to MK and take the resort monorail to TTC to transfer to the EP monorail. For ease of transportation, POR would be my third choice. It's a lovely resort, but there is no parks transportation advantage in staying there.

We prefer the Epcot resort area. BC/YC are our faves. If that price is within your budget, thats what I'd choose. :)

We love the Epcot resorts too. Yacht Club has been our favorite. We are trying Boardwalk Inn soon. The area is so convenient to Epcot(walking to the International Gateway) & Hollywood Studios( a boat ride or 20 minute walk). There are plenty of restaurants to eat at for all meals.( restaurants at the Swan,Dolphin,Yacht & Beach Clubs, the Boardwalk, and so close to the many restaurants in The World Showcase at Epcot. It's a great area.

How about a split stay at CR and BC? Best of all worlds... close to MK at CR and close to EP and HS at BC. That’s my pick.

I would pick BC because I like being by the boardwalk. Its super pretty at night and fun bars/restaurants. Have fun!

The Contemporary is the worst for transportation ease if you are visiting the parks evenly

The Contemporary is the worst for transportation ease if you are visiting the parks equally. It is very easy to get to Magic Kingdom and very difficult to get anywhere else. You have to trasfer monorail to get to Epcot, making the trip 30 minutes when for other hotels it is under 15 minutes by bus, and you get an extra long bus ride, near 30 minutes to go to Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios, when most other hotels only take 15 minutes or less. This is partly because The area near Magic Kingdom has narrow roads and lots of traffic, so just getting out and in take a while. Transportation is easier if you use Lyft instead of Disney transportation. Furthermore, going to Epcot by monorail means you will have your bags searched TWICE, once for getting on the monorail and once for entering Epcot.

Riverside has 4 bus stops, so the buses have to circle around before leaving the hotel. Other than that, it is easy access to all the parks and has a boat to Disney Springs.

At Beach Club you can walk to Epcot in 5 minutes and to Hollywood Studios in 20 minutes, or you can take the boat to both, taking about as long (the boat is really slow). Magic Kingdom is about 15 minutes by bus and Animal Kingdom 10 minutes by bus. Disney Springs is about 14 minutes.

So the winner, in terms of transportation ease given equal visits to all places, is definitely Beach Club or its neighbor hotels.

I don't know why your Contemporary trip is priced lower than Beach Club. Normally Contemp is more expensive, comparing similar rooms.

@BabybetterDisney The quote is probably for a garden wing room The tower rooms are usually priced higher.

If money is not an object in the discussion I would choose the Beach Club. Personally, for an anniversary trip I would consider Animal Kingdom Lodge. It is a world away from reality once you step through those front doors, and transports you to the Savannahs.
