Help us decide our first night dinner

We were thinking La Hacienda (6pm) OR Coral Reef (4:15pm)

We have hacienda booked but after reading a ton of bad reviews and very few good reviews we are thinking about trying Coral Reef instead. We love mexican food, and really wanted to try hacienda but now we are scared off

The early dinner at Coral Reef (only time available) doesnt bother us- its our travel day so we wanted to be back the resort somewhat early

It will be me, DH, DS (5) and DD (2)

What do you think?

I'd do Chef Mickey's if its available - or another character meal. I think they're a great way to kick off a vacation - especially with kids.

I love La Hacienda de San Angel. I love the atmosphere and the shopping and the cute boat ride. Your kids are young though so they may enjoy Coral Reef more. It would be great if you could get a table by the tank at Coral Reef. That would be a great experience for them.
