That is sooo funny that you mention those names. I have 4 sons and a very Irish sounding last name ( it's actually Scotch) so we looked for traditional Irish names when choosing we have Sean, Liam, Tiernan and Quinn. Others on my list were Seamus, Declan, and Ronan.

This is my thought on tradional names..my dh's family is
Most of the other names suggested by the other posters are already taken by family members. The only other name I am considering now is Cian-but it sounds a lot like Ian my nephew. Everyone keep the suggestions coming.
I think that just comes from having all girls and having four. Heck, I'm even guilty of including the dog's name occasionally.
