Help! I have made must of our reservations but forgot to make dinner on our last evening..............and of course there is nothing left. Any good places to recommend in Magic Kingdom or anywhere else that might have availability?
Thanks

You can always try Kona, Ohana, The Wave, Citricos, Narcoosee's, and even Grand Floridian Cafe. They aren't IN the Magic Kingdom, but are a short walk or a short monorail ride away. Oftentimes resort restaurants have more availability.

Another idea is to keep calling, even when you get there, or even try walking up to Crystal Palace, The Plaza, Tony's or LTT early in the day and see if they have any availability that night. Sometimes you have more luck with walking up.

Did you try the Plaza Restaurant at the Magic Kingdom? A lot of people still don't know about this little place and they might have an opening.

Regarding the Plaza, more and more people are finding out about this little gem - I tried getting a walk up lunch and it was a total fuggedaboudit. Call and get reservations. Also Crystal Palace is a definite not to be missed. If push comes to shove and no ressies are available at either of those places, Columbia Harbor House has delicious food as well.

Can you guys fill me in on Plaza Restaurant? I have ADRs for LTT at 1:05pm on DEc 20th, but I'm hedging on them a bit now. We have a full day on the 20th. We eat Boma for breakfast at 7:45am, LLT for lunch around 1pm and 8pm dinner at Cali GRille. We are a party of 2 adults and 3 growing, hungry boys. Thoughts?
 Thanks!

I was also going to suggest one of the restaurants near the MK, at one of the resorts. What about the new place at the Contemporary? Is it called, The Wave? Kona, another good suggestion. You could make the adr at one of these, then keep trying to call back and see if anything opens up at MK.

The Plaza is a charming Victorian-style restaurant at the end of Main Street, across the street from Casey's, overlooking the Castle. It's a sandwich/burger/salad/dessert-to-die-for restaruant and it's fabulous. The CMs are always top notch and so is the service. Most people don't like to use their TS credits here, but I always do. The sandwiches are made fresh, not that pre-made slog you get at the food courts, and are prepared as you like them. For example, I don't like Thousand Island dressing so I always ask that it's not put on my Reuben and that request has always been honored. I think you'd like this gem because of its location and its food. If you need a stronger recommendation than mine, my kids LOVE it here and they're relatively picky eaters.

And I forgot to mention: if you're eating breakfast at Boma at 7:45 you're not going to be hungry around noon!!!! Their buffet is fantastic - enjoy!!

Excellent explenantion. Thanks. I'll check out the menu on allearsnet. Do they accept ADRS? And would you choose Plaza over Liberty Tree?

Any day of the week. And I highly recommend ADRs as its become near-impossible to get a walk-up table, even for lunch.

Try the Grand Floridian Cafe, we ate there this past Saturday night and it was incredible (pics and review in my Aug link). Just a short monorail ride away and it is so worth it

Yeah, I am really looking frward to Boma! I'll try for late ADRs (sometime between 1 and 2pm) - we don't want to be stuffed for our 8pm ressie at Cali Grille!

You are going during free dining. I would not count on ANY walkups in the MK. Last year every day of our trip they had a sign posted in front of Town Hall that said there was no more table service available.

Try any of the Monorail Resport Restaurants. The Wave is good and The Grand Floridian Cafe is not bad. Also the Whispering Canyon Cafe is super easy to get to from the MK, it's an enjoyable boat ride away and it's a fun meal.
