Here is the situation:

There is going to be a group 8 of flying to Orlando on 5-Nov, 6 adults, 3-yr old and 1-yr old. We all arrive about the same time (about 15 minutes apart), but baggage will be on opposite sides of MCO airport. We also want to make a grocery stop along the way.

Departure will be staggered. 2 of us will be leaving on 13-Nov for the airport in the morning, and the other six staying at an airport area hotel (with airport shuttle) late in the evening 13-Nov (our flight is early Sunday morning).

I would like to solicit your suggestion for a Towncar/Van company that would cater to our needs (without being too costly), and we prefer to not use a shuttle service for these legs of the journey.

Thanks for your help.

I would have everyone meet some place in the airport on arrival day. Travel to the resort together. I'm not sure if you are going back to the airport area hotel at the same time as the other half of your party, or if you will be heading over there later in the day.

I would use a van for the first leg. If the 2 people are going at a seperate time from you then have a towncar for that portion of the trip. For the remaining 6 I would have the van take us back.

I use Tiffany Towncar. Round trip for the van (to most Disney Resorts) is $110, minus a $5 off coupon =$105. One way for a towncar is $55. You are looking at about $190 with tips included.

They will also provide car seats for the children if needed.

We have an almost identical situation for December, 8 people total with 6 of us arriving and then leaving together. I plan to book a van roundtrip, picking all 8 of us up at the airport. The 2 flights are arriving in Orlando within an hour of each other so I will arrange the pick up for the later flight time and airline. The rest of us will meet up there. The return trip will be just the 6 of us since the other 2 people have a much later flight. They will be getting a one way town car for themselves. This is what I've been thinking anyway. Anyone see any problems with this plan??

Hope that helps.

Sounds just like we did last Oct.
The bigger group will get the van and the actual round trip part and the 2 people get a one way towncar. It works out great and its the cheapest way.

Just make sure the company knows that there really are two pick-ups on return day and not a fluke that someones names appears twice.
Have a great trip,
Lori
