We are debating on trying Cookes of Dublin in DTD. I haven't heard much about this so please tell me your thoughts. Share pics if you have them also!!! Thanks :goodvibes

Absolutely love this place. I have had the fish and chips from here and they've been delicious, but my favourite thing on the menu is the Chicken and Field Mushroom Pie. So soooo yummy!

Interesting, i have never heard of this place before, and oddly enough, my mothers maiden name is Cooke, and they are from Dublin :)

wonder if i can swing a family discount :lmao:

If you like everything dipped in batter and deep fried, you will probably enjoy it. Not my style of eating though, but it gets fairly good reviews.

Just be prepared that if you decide to dine there and there is a crowd it does take a while to get your order but it's always piping hot and delicious. I prefer the fish and chips from here than from anywhere else on property.

I finally ate there my last trip & would have gone back if I had the time. I got the fried shrimp but there are several other items on the menu I'd like to try. My friend got the fish & chips and the piece of fish was absolutely huge. I would definitely recommend giving it a try.

My dad dreams of the scallops from Cooke's. They are pretty awesome!

Anywhere I can get a Guinness with dinner is A-OK with me!

We love the place. There is a new chicken sandwich that DH really liked. DS gets the fish and chips and eats all of it. I get on of the pies. The only thing I don't like is that they use snickers for the fried candy bars and I am allergic to nuts.

We love Cooke's - authentic fish and chips. The chicken tenders here are good too - slightly different from the bog standard WDW chicken strips/nuggets.

This is the only picture I have, which is of the fish and chips

AMAZING.....You get the same food from Raglan Road, just half the price! Get the Fish n Chips and a Fried Snickers for dessert :) We discovered this place on accident when we ran out of places to go, and it was a great decision, cuz we love this place now!

This place never interested us much because of the limited seating available. But I am convinced that we will stand in line to eat here next time. The food was DELICIOUS!!! The head chef there the night we went was actually from Raglan Road. He encouraged DH to get the battered burger. It was a special menu item that they were testing out. He told DH that he was convinced DH would love it. And he was right! :worship: He even came to our table to see how we were enjoying our food. And it had a fresh tomato cutney that DH LOVED! It was a great dining experience, maybe even better than Raglan Road. And for only a CS credit too! :woohoo:

And I loved the beef and lamb pie. And OMG!!! the Doh Bars (battered and fried Snickers bars) are out of this world!! SO YUMMY!! This place will definitely be on our must-do list. I'm just bummed that we never gave it a chance before.:sad2:

They even have happy hour! Can't beat that!

Yes, they have fried foods, but they also have salad on their menu. My DS17 got a chicken salad there last week.

See thats my thing I dont deal well with fried foods..We tried it last yr and first couple bites ( had batter dipped small sausages) were amazing then it was like YUK, just b/c its all deep fried, now they do have a cesar salad that DS got and I think they have a take on a cottage pie thats not fried as well but basically everything is fried..
