Help taking CPAP equipment on plane

Hi, does anyone know if I can take distilled water with CPAP equipment as carry on? We're staying on site with no car & not ordering groceries this trip. TIA

I don't think there is any chance they will allow distilled water on the plane. I also have a CPAP and wonder if we can take an unopened gallon in our baggage. To solve the problem I am going to place an order through Garden Grocer. In addition to the distilled water I am planning to order bottled water for the days at the park, some milk and fruit. I am planning to pack cereal, breakfast bars and snacks to reduce the time we spend eating breakfast.
I will be interested to see how other CPAP users solve this problem.

You do know that the CPAP does not count against your carry on limit.

Thanks, I did know the CPAP equipment doesn't count as a carry on but the last time we flew was 2 years ago. I know they've changed some rules since then. I was confused by the tsa site, it says they allow liquid medicines, both RX and over the counter, and listed water, but you have to declare it in advance. They didn't clarify what size would be permitted so I wasn't sure if an unopened gallon of distilled water would be permitted, I've never noticed distilled water sold in a half gallon and I'm thinking an untampered, unopened container would do better through security.

2 years ago we did order from Garden Grocer but they stopped delivering alcohol which was our main reason for using them I can ship bottled water for us to drink from Staples or Walmart's for less than their delivery fee (and pack snacks in carry on).

So that just leaves this distilled water issue. It's an aggravating little detail, but maybe not? Hopefully someone will post that uses a CPAP and let us know if they were able to take distilled water on the plane with them (and what size the container was)

I am a teacher and have a parent that is a TSA officer. I will try to remember to ask her the next time I see her.

DH travels with one, and has never even considered trying to bring distilled water on the plane.

If all else fails, there are the Hess stations around and we've found that most places carry distilled water, so I'd check those along with even the stores at the resorts!

If all ALL else fails, DH has been known to use plain filtered water, and then he cleans things after that trip.

We took a gallon of distilled water 2 years ago for my dh cpap put it in checked luggage we called the tsa prior to going to find out if it was allowed they said yes in checked luggage not in carry on. Call tsa to find out if it is still allowed

You can pack pretty much anything you want in checked baggage except explosives. I wouldn't chance packing water. If it leaks your bag and the bags of the people around them will be soaked.

Op have you looked into wego? It's another shopping service that I believe still delivers alcohol. Also you are shipping water down, why not add some distilled water to that order.

I just use bottled water on vacation.

My DH filters his own water while on vacation. We have a few of those Brita bottles (not the big pitchers, but regular-sized bottles) that he fills with tap water. Then he just pours the water out of the filtered bottle into his machine. Probably not as good as distilled, but works great!

I have since learned that Turner Drugs delivers distilled water and other over the counter medicines and misc. drug store items to many of the WDW resorts. They charge $7.50 to deliver if you call your order in and $10 if you order on line.

May end up using them since they also deliver bottled water and limited choices of pop.
