We'll be traveling to POFQ in a few days (DH & me). We've booked a standard room. Any recommendations for a building/room that we should request? Thanks for your help.

I stayed in Bldg 5 on the opposite side of the pool. It was VERY quiet. It was very close to the river. I loved it.

We stayed in building 5, it was a nice location, not far from the pool, and the main building. I have also stayed in building 3 which was a good location.
The resort really is very compact, the buildings that are the farther away from the main building would be #1 and 6 and 7, but even they are not so far that you feel like your walking forever.

We stayed in a ground floor room in bldg 4- we faced a lovely courtyard that was very close to the Mint (main building) and the bus stop. The pool was very close, too- just around the corner and down a pretty little lane.

Really, POFQ is so pretty and intimate, even the buildings farthest away from the registration building and bus stop are close, compared to the other Mods and Values. Have a great time!

We have stayed twice in building #5 courtyard view. Close to the food court, main building, pool, and laundry.

I had requested building #5 for our recent stay, but got building #4 on the ground floor (#4121).

I think it was even CLOSER to everything than #5 would have been! I had heard this building was a smoking building, but we were in a non-smoking room and didn't notice any lingering smell (and I'm VERY sensitive to that). We were just STEPS from the bus stop and food court and very close to the hot tub and pool.

Even though it faced the parking lot, you really couldn't SEE it because of the lovely landscaping between the building and lot. I really liked the location.

I just called to request building 5, but I am happy to read here that the resort is compact. Is there ample parking near all the buildings? My main issue is at night when we come back from a day out and the boys are asleep and we have to carry them
