I am looking at the Ready-Set-Go availability for the second week in January, 2007. I am traveling with my family (DH, DD 11, DS 10, DS 8) and my sister-in laws family. I need a Sunday check-in (can go Sat. too I suppose) and 2 two bedroom units preferably at the same resort. Orbit One just showed up this morning - and I put the unit on hold. They only had one available. Is this a good choice? Should I wait for something different? I am not too fussy, need clean and prefer quiet. We are splitting time this trip between Disney and Universal (our first time there... I feel like a traitor!).
Any thoughts? I am OK with last minute planning, but my SIL seemed stressed when I explained I could not book the flights until we got a DING fare. My kids are also getting to those wonderful years when the boys and the girl would prefer separte rooms - so if I could get a 3br at Cypress Pointe or Embassy at Grand Beach that would be great!
We have stayed at:
Orange Lake three times and loved it (never comes up anymore)
Cypress Pointe in 2001 - didn't care for it then, but things seem to be much improved now!
Villas at Summer Bay - had a serious roach issue - nice place but wouldn't return due to the number of creepy crawlies
Embassy Resort at Grand Beach twice - liked this place as well - we had the three bedroom units
Vacation Village at Parkway twice - liked this timeshare too.. very clean and new - also doesn't seem to be coming up often anymore!
