Help shirt color bleeds through transfer!!!

When doing dark fabric transfer the color is bleeding through the transfer. Everything has already been prewashed, does anyone know of a solution?

Are you using transfers that are specifically made for dark fabrics?

If the shirt color is bleeding through the ink on your transfer, you are over applying it. the ink should be in the fabric, not on it, but not SO far into the fabric that the fabric bleeds through.

Conversely, if the transfer peels off, it means NOT ENOUGH heat and the ink hasn't sunk into the fabric.

I have found that if you iron it too long the color of the shirt bleeds through the transfer. Try not ironing for as long.
