Help save our cat.

The only problem is today we gave him his medicine and he REALLY didn't like it. It was awlful. The medicine was white and he was gagging. Not the best. Anyway after a call to the vet, we got a second medicine. Waiting until this afternoon to spring this one on him. Vet said that it was a 50/50 shot whether he would like the first one. Gee thanks.

did you try it in little bit of wet food? I do this with mine ( one is really really bad about medicine-the others not so much) I just squirt a little ( they usually give you a syringe) into the food and then cover it with more food. Usually wet cat food smells so gaggingly bad that it covers up the medicine smell.

Took cat to the vet this morning, yes he has an infection and is now on meds for the next 10 days. Boy I hope this is the problem. Vet said it was so we'll see. At least I know I'm not alone with this cat problem. I just keep telling myself, "in two months you'll be in WDW and no cat poop or pee!!"

Just be prepared....if he starts again after the medicine, there could be more to it, hopefully not, but in our case, gave the cat meds for ten days, a week later started again. He had bladder stones, found through x-ray and had to be operated on to have them removed. Poor guy, people didn't understand why we were paying to have all this done. He's perfectly fine now and hopefully won't get them again, diet change should work. Anyway, I hope your cat is better soon and stays better.
