Help ~! ?'s About No Expiry Tickets ! !

I have to order my tickets today for WDW. I've put it off for so long b/c I'm confused as to which tickets to get.l

Can I purchase a 10 park hopper with expiry and if we don't go to the park 10 days ADD the NO EXPIRY at the parks ? At customer relations ?

How much is it to add the no expiry per day ? Thanks ~

Yes you can add non-expiration at the parks.

It is quite convenient to do it at Guest Relations inside the park. That is, provided you do it after the ticket has undergone usage (and not used more than 13 days ago) the cost of non-expiration is that posted above the ticket booths which for a 10 day ticket is about $170. including the tax and regardless of how many days remain.

The cost may be more for unused tickets purchased from non-Disney sources.

Often the cost of non-expiration is not worthwhile unless the remains of the ticket will fully cover some future vacation (not necessarily your next).

Can you explain a little more about what you are going to be doing during your stay? Will you guys be returning to WDW in the next several years? Just to make it clear. The non-expiry price is based on the length of the original ticket. Not how many days remain.

We are staying for 10 days 12/17-12/27. We won't be going to the parks EVERYDAY since we want to avoid the most crowded days 12/24 & 12/25. Although I'm sure ALL days will be crowded. This will be a laid back trip. We were there last year twice and will be going back hopefully next year.

I'm the only one who needs a ticket. My DH and kids all have 5 days left on their 10 day No Expiry from the last visit. I had a AP that expired. I don't want an AP again. So I've been waffling between the 5 day MYW and the 10 days MYW no expiry.

We always buy the 10 day no expiry w/ water parks.(we rarely hop but get what you like.) It worked out to something like $22.00 per day (6 water park days), assuming you don't do theme and water parks on the same day.
I'd get AP's but don't want to have to worry about our 2nd trip being within 12 mos. This way it can be say 15 mos. without any stress. We get at least 3 trips out of a ticket since we like a few days on each trip to relax by the pool or shop.
I would get the non-expiry and see how much you use them. You can always upgrade before you leave

Don't forget that the price for No Expire is based on the total number of days that were ever on the tickets. Also, once a ticket was first used more than 14 days ago you cannot do any modifications or upgrades.
