Hi all,

I have a friend who is going to arrive at Disney in less than 2 weeks, is staying offsite, and still hasn't bought tickets - ah! At this point her only options for tickets are will call, email, FedEx. If she makes a mydisneyexperience account and purchases tickets through her account for will call pick up, will MDE let her make FastPass+ reservations even though she won't have her RDIF tickets in hand to read the number off the back?? In other words, will MDE know she has tickets without her physically entering the numbers in?

If not, what can she do to get her tickets faster - can she buy them at the disney store and then enter them in online on MDE?

We always stay onsite, so I have never had this issue myself and don't know what to tell her! :)

Best option: Will Call. She can link the confirmation numbers to MDE and schedule her Fp+ for her entire trip because she is within the 30 day window.

Yes, this. I bought my ticket online from WDW via my MDE account and chose will-call. I received a confirmation number immediately (on screen and via email) that I was able to link to my account.

(One note: I'm trying to remember if this was the case, but I THINK when you link your ticket in MDE, there's a drop-down where you choose whether you're linking an actual number off the physical ticket or a confirmation number for will-call. I just have this memory of some folks having trouble linking numbers, and you have to make sure you have the right one selected.)

Anyone know if this works with APs being purchased on the FL resident payment plan?

Not to horrify all of you planners, but we were going to buy our MYW tickets when we finally get to Orlando. Since our vacation is going to be attached to my husband's business travel, there is always a possibility that his client meeting locations may change, and that we might need to go on a different date or a completely different geographical location.

Is is really going to be difficult to grab tickets for 4 on the same day we want to walk into one of the parks?

If you are talking about FP+s, no, you shouldn't have a problem getting them (except for character meet and greets). Just link them to your MDE acct as soon as you get them. That way you won't have to use the kiosks
