About 2 months ago I booked my upcoming trip to the Fort through Disney's website. I was more concerned with convenience than price so I used Disney's web site to book everything including airfare.

I'm wondering if anybody else has done this, and when do the plane tickets usually arrive? I keep getting this nagging suspicion that my tickets won't show up. :scared1:

Well since most plane tickets are e-tickets now anyway, you will probably just get a confirmation # of your flights along with the rest of your package documents at just under 45 days out (when you pay your final payment).

However, for convenience AND best price, you need to contact rhonda@dreamsunlimitedtravel.com

She will take care of EVERTHING including dining reservations AND get you the best price.

One email is all it takes :-)

Oh, just noticed you are under 45 days now. Look through your package documents. I bet your flight confirmation numbers are in there. You can use that confirmation number on the actual airlines website to check your flight status. You could probably also check-in for your flight online, or if you don't wish to do that, take that confirmation number to the checkin line at the airport.

Hey Carol, do you use Rhonda for all of your bookings at WDW? Including FW? We do all of it ourselves, but it would be nice to have someone as a single point of contact who knows how to do it, and do it for the best price??

Thanks, sorry for the thread hijack!

I do everything myself, that way I have no one to blame but myself if there is a problem. We did book our airfare through Disney on one trip and it went fine. There should be some kind of order number with your flight info in your Disney packet. There are no old fashion tickets anymore, everything is electronic nowadays.

Have a great trip!

Yes, I use Rhonda for everything including Fort Wilderness. She knows the Fort and knows the weirdness that is Fort reservations (looking for and booking more than you need, then backing off days you don't need.)

Even after you book, she will check prices periodically for any specials that come out and will check when any rates that you may be eligible for come out (AAA, Passholder).

Also, if for some reason you get a PIN code email, just forward that email to her and she will check that out also.

She will also make dining reservations for you. Really easy to do!!

What about reservations you already have, can she take it over and work her magic or is it to late because she wouldn't get a commission??

Actually, yes she can, you have to write and sign a letter stating that you want to give control of your reservation to the agent, which she will then forward to Disney.

Just buzz her an email, and she will tell you best how to proceed.
